The Daniel Defense DDM4 M4A1 features the M4A1 RIS II, which has been in use by US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) for the SOPMOD II Weapons System since 2005. This exceptional rifle is equipped with a 14.5 Cold Hammer Forged M4 Profile barrel and a permanently attached Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor for superior performance.

The M4A1 incorporates a rugged and comfortable Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip to enhance shooting ease. Designed to meet California compliance standards, this rifle prevents the magazine release button from being engaged while fully assembled, securely locking the magazine in the receiver. To release the magazine, the shooter simply separates the upper from the lower using an extended (rear) takedown pin with an attached cord, making the process straightforward and user-friendly.
